Empoleon is Luster's first Pokemon. Received from Team Galactic to begin his mission to become Sinnoh Champion, Luster had no idea that it was stolen from him. As a Piplup, it refused to use Special based attacks, as it liked to strike the foe with it's own body, often trashing around violently. After winning his first Gym battle, Piplup evolved into Prinplip. It grew more violent in nature, sometimes attacking Luster if things did not go it's way. Things got worse as it evolved into Empoleon. After defeating the final Gym, and learning that both it and Luster was betrayed by Cyrus, it's rage was no longer focused on Luster. Empoleon was the strongest Pokemon on Luster's team until the addition of Heatran.
